My Fascination With Emu Oil Products

My love affair with emu oil products started out through a fascination I have with tattoos.

I started researching different ways to care for new tattoos and somewhere I had picked up the connection between emu oil and tattoos.

I started researching emu oil and became fascinated with all I was finding out about it.

I couldn’t believe what I was reading. It all seemed too good to be true. Could this oil from this flightless bird from Australia really do all they were saying that it could? I had to find out.

I found one manufacturer that wanted over a hundred dollars for an emu oil concoction for the face to prevent wrinkles. This was not what I was looking for. I wanted to test the full range of their products out, because as a website owner, I was interested in putting it up on my website if it turned out to be a good product.

After researching several emu oil manufacturers, I finally located one that met my criteria. I wanted someone who raised their birds humanely, and that did not use any growth hormones, or and other additives in the bird’s feed. I also wanted to find a source of good 100% pure emu oil that did not smell and that was completely refined and that sold their emu oil at a decent price.

I contacted several manufacturers of emu oil until I finally found a source that fit my bill. Then I bit the bullet and ordered every product that they made. I couldn’t wait until my emu oil products arrived.

Let me tell you a little bit about the properties of emu oil, and see if you aren’t a bit fascinated too.

Emu oil has 3 main properties, healing, anti-aging and moisturizing, and anti-inflammatory. Along with these 3 properties it is also non-comedogenic, anti-bacterial, and it has the ability to penetrate through all 7 layers of the skin right down to the basal layer almost immediately. There is no other oil that has the ability to do that.

The ability to penetrate the skin so fast makes it a great carrier for other herbs and healing agents. If other herbs and healing agents are mixed with emu oil they are carried directly to the basal layer of your skin and therefore users see quick results when they use any of these products.

I have several uses for the oil personally so I figured that I was a good test subject.
Let’s start off with the healing, anti-aging and moisturizing properties. I have a bad complexion, and always have had. I pick at my face even though that is a no-no. I sometimes have little sores on my face from picking. I am also 54 years old and have plenty of fine lines and wrinkles on my face. So I started using the oil on my face to see what would happen.

I couldn’t believe what happened after the first application of the oil. All of those little blackheads that clog the pores came popping to the surface of my skin. My little sores from picking immediately scabbed over – and started healing up. I have cleared up all my pimples, and my bumpy rough skin is becoming smooth and soft – wait – it is smooth and soft after using the emu oil diligently twice a day on my face for two months.

There is a noticeable change in my complexion. I have had comments from others, without fishing for them on my improved complexion. I have been told that my face looks fresher and that it is smoother looking than it used to be. You can’t beat that with a stick as far as I am concerned. I always thought I would just have to live with my acne scars and rough complexion. Now I know I too can have a smooth complexion as long as apply the emu oil to my skin.

My cat had a sore on its back. I put the emu oil on the sore, and it was amazing how quickly the cat’s back healed up and new hair grew in. The cat did not have any problems with the application of the oil either; it was like putting water on the sore. The cat didn’t seem to have a problem with me putting the oil on it at all.

I have a bad back. My back is so bad that sometimes I have difficulty walking right. I have severe pain from my back problems. I have osteoarthritis, and spondylolisthesis, which is a displacement of the bones in my spine.

Nothing will make me forget the day I put on the Emu Oil Intensive Pain relief product from th 1ff8 is manufacturer. My back pain disappeared immediately. Just like that it was gone. For the first time in years I was pain free in my back. I will never forget that moment.
The Intensive Pain Relief is an example of a product that has other herbs and added ingredients to the emu oil. The pain relief was not permanent, but it was wonderful to me, all the same. I use this product when I do the dishes, mop the floor, or want to do some gardening. It has given me a new lease on life – literally. I can do things now that I couldn’t tolerate doing before, even on my pain medication.

I love the emu oil body mist for after my showers. It keeps me refreshed all day long. I just love these products and am so happy that I found them. I wouldn’t have believed that I would be so fixated on something like emu oil, but after using these products, I certainly am.

You might be wondering just what else emu oil is good for. Here is a list of conditions that benefit from the use of emu oil:

One last thing before I end this personal recount of my experience with emu oil. My neighbor’s sister bought some emu oil from somewhere, I don’t know where.

Her bottle of emu oil is hard and must be warmed up to use. This is not what the products that I use are like. The products that I use are soft, gentle, and quite wonderful to the feel and touch.

If you wind up with a bottle of emu oil that contains oil that is hard, or that smells funny, you should try buying some emu again from another source. That is not what good emu oil is like. It does not smell, and it is not hard.

By the way, if you are a vegetarian, I am afraid this oil is not for you as it comes from an animal and not a plant.

If you have any of the problems that are listed above you might want to check this wonderful golden oil out. You might just be surprised at all of the uses you will find for it.

I have been using the emu oil on my elbows and feet also, what a vast improvement!

Emu oil truly is the "Wonder from down under!"

Natural Remedies Hemorrhoids, Hemroids and Piles

Hemorrhoids can be treated at every stage. Many people who suffer from them find relief by means of home treatment. In case they have not succeeded to alleviate the symptoms, they usually undergo nonsurgical treatments, the so called fixative procedures.

These techniques are most successful in hemorrhoid units from the first and second stage. If the hemorrhoids have got severe – third and fourth stages, surgical treatment is recommended.

What are the fixative procedures?

Fixative procedures are alternative for surgery of the hemorrhoids.

Light coagulation: This procedure stops the blood circulation to the hemorrhoid unit by causing the affected tissue to shrink and die.

Rubber band ligation: This method uses a rubber band to tie the base of the hemorrhoid unit and cut it off from the blood circulation and as a result it dies and falls of in about a week.

Cryotherapy: A device called Zeroid has recently been available as an alternative treatment of hemorrhoids. This uses cryotherapy as a home treatment procedure. The device is a plastic cylinder 15 mm in diameter and 6 sm long and contains a gel which could be frozen in the freezer or in the refrigerator. The device is introduced into the rectum. As it taws in the rectal canal, the temperature of the inside tissues gets lower. The action of thawing takes up from 5 to 10 minutes. The devise is inserted twice daily and the treatment continues for about 3 weeks. This method relieves the symptoms – eliminates discomfort and pain and stops bleeding episodes. In some cases a considerable shrinkage of the hemorroidal lumps can be observed.

Laser coagulation: Lasers used in medicine provide an alternative to the conservative treatment of hemorrhoids. Laser coagulation is a relatively easy and painless procedure which cuts off blood supply to the hemorroidal unit.

What are the natural cures for alternative treatment of hemorrhoids?

Natural remedies are easy to be applied at home and keep the hemorrhoids of becoming worse or of recurring after fixative procedures.

These include:

Lidocaine: Applied on the affected area in the form of a jelly or a spray, it numbs the skins and alleviates the pain and irritation from hemorrhoids.

Topical analgetics: They offer a temporary pain relief and do not fight the whole range of the hemorrhoid symptoms.

High-fiber diet: To strengthen the veins of the anus and rectum and prevent hemorrhoids occurrence, one should include in his diet cherries, blackberries, butcher’s broom and flavonoids. Tha latter are plant pigments which are found in fruit, soy beans and tea.

Pilewort: This is a plant (Ranunculusficaria) which could be applied as an ointment or taken as tea. It reduces the pain of external hemorrhoids successfully.

Emu oil: Applied as an ointment on the affected area it strengthens the tissues, alleviates the pain and discomfort from external hemorrhoids.

Sitting baths: This procedure presents an easy alleviation of pain and hemorrhoid prevention. You need to dip the affected area in a tub full of lukewarm water for about 15 minutes  two or three times daily.
