aretgeg Hemorrhoid Symptoms How To Easily Recognize The Symptoms Of HemorrhoidsCan you really recognize the symptoms of hemorrhoids? There are millions of listings on the web and I will share with you what they say.

The most common symptoms of hemorrhoids rectal bleeding as evidenced by small amounts of blood streaking stools or by the presence of slight blood on the toilet paper after wiping, a false feeling of incomplete movement of the bowels, rectal itching and soft lump felt at the anal opening. The bleeding is often bright red blood.

Many anorectal problems, including fissures, fistulae, abscesses, or irritation and itching, also called pruritus ani and the more sinister colorectal cancer, have similar symptoms and could be easily confused with hemorrhoids.

Hemorrhoids usually are not dangerous or life threatening. In very mild cases, hemorrhoidal symptoms will resolve by itself within a few days these types of hemorrhoids are asymptomatic with the victims not experiencing any symptoms. The most common symptom of internal hemorrhoids is bright red blood staining the stool, or staining toilet paper used to wipe the anus after defecation, or in the toilet bowl.

Internal hemorrhoid although not usually painful, may protrude through the anus outside the body, becoming irritated and painful. This is known as a prolapsed hemorrhoid. Symptoms of external hemorrhoids may include painful swelling or a hard lump around the anus that results when a blood clot forms. This condition is known as a thrombosed external hemorrhoid. In addition, excessive straining, rubbing, or cleaning around the anus may cause irritation with bleeding and/or itching, which may produce a vicious cycle of symptoms.

Draining of mucus which usually accompanies protusion of internal hemorrhoids can cause itching around the anus.

Another symptom of internal hemorrhoids is a false feeling of urge to defecate even when the bowels are empty, this is known medically as tenesmus.

Bleeding during bowel movements, itching, and rectal pain are the most common hemorrhoids symptoms.

Everybody at one time or another has developed hemorrhoids in their lifetimes, from standing or sitting in one position too long, being chronically constipated, or during and after pregnancy.

These can be quite painful and may cause cramping in the lower abdomen and the urge to have a bowel movement. There are two types of conditions; external and internal with external being easiest to treat.

The most common symptoms are a sensation of a lump, extreme itching, burning, pain, and light bleeding immediately after a bowel movement.

Several over the counter products assist in shrinking hemorrhoids, with the main ingredient being witch hazel. Another item found in many homes, is apple cider or white vinegar and petroleum jelly.

All three of these will treat the problem and soothe at the same time. Witch hazel is inexpensive and easy to use. In fact, witch hazel is commonly prescribed immediately after childbirth as an astringent if the woman has received any stitches. Another is Aloe Vera for its moisturizing and pain killing properties.

Petroleum jelly helps to keep the area lubricated and serves to prevent hard bowel movements, which may irritate the area even more, and restart bleeding and a worsening of the condition.

Ice packs will prevent irritation and swelling as well.

Simply pour into a small container without diluting it, and using a q-tip apply gently to the affected area after every bowel movement and any time there is itching or pain.

Apple cider vinegar (ACV) also stops bleeding and has antibacterial and antiseptic properties. One of the most relaxing and enjoyable treatments for hemorrhoids is a sitz bath.

Fill the bathtub or soaking tub with warm water, add a rubber doughnut made specifically for sitting on with hemorrhoids, and soak for 15 minutes.

Pat dry gently, but do not rub. Be sure to apply ointment such as aloe vera afterward. If the hemorrhoids do not improve after a week, it may be time to get a medical opinion.
